With this feature enabled, you have the ability to export a CSV file of the project information displayed on your Project Dashboard.
The CSV will capture the following information (dependant on the features switched on for your account):
- Project name
- Project status
- Project reference
- When the project was last updated
- Whom it was last updated by
- When the project was created
- Whom it was created by
- Whether the project was created as a duplicate
- Version number
- Approval status
- Whether the risk assessments in the project are up-to-date (requires the risk register feature)
You have two options for which information to export:
Exporting your entire project library:
Go to your Project Dashboard, then click the button above your most recent project labelled 'Export'.
This will start exporting the information for all the projects created in that division.
You can continue working on HANDS HQ whilst the CSV is being generated. When the export is ready, you will receive an email on the address attached to your log-in details.
Click on the link the email and you will be redirected to your HANDS HQ account (if you have logged out you will need to log back in) and the download should begin automatically.
Exporting information for specific projects based on your search results:
You may want to only have a CSV for projects relating to specific types of work or clients.
So in these circumstances, use HANDS HQ's search function to narrow down the relevant projects before clicking the option to export.
For example, I have chosen to look only for projects which reference 'electrical'
When the search results have been generated, follow the same process outlined above for exporting the CSV and receiving the link to the file via email.
If you do not have the Project Export feature enabled, but would like to make use of it, please get in touch with your account manager or email us at email@example.com
